Acts 435: Thanks for such generosity of spirit

In 2023 so far

we have been able to buy a freezer for someone out of work with mental health problems and we are buying a bed and bedside table for someone else fleeing domestic violence and being rehomed with hardly any furniture.

The mum who handles things for the man whose freezer broke sent, "Hi Steve, that was so nice of people to donate the money, so pleased, can you say a big thankyou to everyone involved, I've just told xxxxxx and he is so delighted and a big thanku from us both he will now be able to store food."

Someone else we have helped is asking questions about God, faith and prayer as she tries to move on through depression.

Also, we have made it possible for two families experiencing sadness and hardship to afford school trips.

Try donating a little to Acts435 and see the difference we can make together. The Minster folk receive an email link from me when I have posted a local need on the website. It's then up to each of us to donate online if we want to, £5, £10, more? A round of cappuccinos! Just ask me if you can belong to this team of givers. My email is stevetash@aol.com

Nationally in both November and December, over £100,000 was donated through Acts435 each month to bring some relief to families

finding life hard. Small gifts making a big difference. (Some of you have kindly offered items: a ladies' bike, some pyrex bowls, some towels, a stove and so on. As we build our relationships locally with those having a tough time of it, some of these goods have been really welcome. Do let me know if you have anything to share and I will try and pass it on.)

Ongoing thanks to Brian, our treasurer, for his work on this.

Thanks be to God.
