I am a self-supporting minister and have a very strong ministry in my workplace with great support and encouragement from colleagues. I have recently become chaplain to a cross-civil service group for survivors of domestic and sexual abuse.
Although originally from the Black Country, I have lived in Alcester for 30 years following my marriage to Andrew and we have two cats named Dylan and Gawain. I have worked in central government for nearly 40 years serving some of the most vulnerable people in society.
First Chapter Done – Next Begins!
I’m delighted to share that Bishop Sophie has confirmed I have successfully completed my curacy. Thank you all for your prayers, encouragement, and support along the way—especially in these past weeks leading up to meeting with the Bishop.
It has been a real privilege to grow in ministry among you, and I look forward to all that lies ahead as I continue to serve God’s Church. I’m particularly grateful to Andrew, my husband, for his unwavering love and support; to our wonderful Ministry Leadership Team; and especially to Katie, a truly fantastic Training Incumbent, from whom I have learned so much.
In due course, I hope we can celebrate together in some way—but for now, a heartfelt thank you. I could not have done this without the Holy Spirit and all of you❤️
