Welcome to St Mary and All Saints. We are part of a group of eight churches called Alcester Minster working together in and around Alcester with a single ministry team.
Many of our activities are therefore Minster-wide, designed for all who attend the churches and all who live in the parishes. Some activities are specific to a particular parish.
We look forward to welcoming you to our services and events.

Haselor church is situated atop a hill between the villages and Haselor and Walcote. These are rural communities and the church enjoys strong links with the farming community and celebrates its rural and agricultural roots through the annual cycle of events which includes Harvest, Plough Sunday and Rogation.

We have recently created a library of books with a Christian theme in Haselor church. The books are free to borrow and should be returned within a month. Please take a look when you next come to our beautiful church on the hill! If you are able to add to our collection, please let us know by emailing haselorchurch@gmail.com and we can arrange collection. Or you can pop it in to the church yourself if you wish.

Breathing Spaces on the Pilgrim Journey
Haselor church is a member of the Small Pilgrim Places Network.
The Network seeks to draw people as pilgrims, across the boundaries of faiths, denominations and spiritual paths, by promoting small ‘breathing spaces’, where all - regardless of faith, race, gender, sexuality or any other identity - can feel welcome as they pause on their journey through life.
These 'breathing spaces' are characterised by the four key elements of Space, Silence, Solitude and Simplicity, encouraging stillness, prayer, and reflection. The Network website can be found at https://www.smallpilgrimplaces.org/

Fun at Haselor Church Fete!
Saturday 21st June
On Sunday 18 May, members of our Al There were a few spots of rain from time to time at our annual Church Fete held at Haselor school, but nowhere near enough to dampen anyone’s spirits! We all had a wonderful time playing games, trying our luck on the tombola and raffle, buying plants for the garden and cakes to take home (except for those we couldn’t wait to eat!)!
The newly formed school choir entertained us with a delightful medley of songs. They were followed by ‘Shout’ with their Beatles tribute as we sat and ate our burgers, and drank our Pimms, prosecco and pints! A great way to spend the afternoon!
Before the prize giving at the end of the fete, Kevin, our long serving village postman was given a retirement present along with a book full of messages from residents thanking him for his service, help and friendship over the last 38 years. Kevin had in fact been a postman for 40 years in all, and apparently thought that the job was only going to be temporary!
The fete was a huge success once again and our heartfelt thanks go to everyone involved in organising and running the event – and, of course, to everyone who came to support it!
When all the takings were counted it was clear that we had raised over £3,000 towards the cost of the stonework repairs at the church. A brilliant result!
With the Plant Sale and the Fete now behind us, it’s time for a well earned rest! Until next year!!

Haselor Church can be a little tricky to find! It is accessed from the village of Haselor or the hamlet of Walcote by following the marked pathways to the top of the hill. Parking is in the road, though occasionally you will see a sign in neighbours' driveways inviting you to use their drive as a car park. There are no toilets on site.
The church is open during daylight hours throughout the year for you to visit for private prayer, as a stop-off while walking, or to take in the history and appreciate the building.
